FC Cincinnati 2 have completed the signing of forward Moises Tablante, the club announced today. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Tablante, 22, arrives in Cincinnati after spending the last two seasons with Orlando City B in MLS NEXT Pro. Tablante saw his first professional minutes with the club in 2019 when the team played matches as part of USL League One. Tablante made 13 appearances for OCB in his first League One season, scoring two goals.
The Venezuelan winger became the Lion’s primary playmaker in 2020 when he led the team with four assists in 14 appearances, all of which were starts. Tablante also led the team in shots (24) and tied a team high in chances created (17).
In 2022, Tablante featured for OCB in MLS NEXT Pro’s inaugural season, making 19 starts in 21 appearances, scoring six goals and notching four assists. Tablante added four more goals during the 2023 season, including a match winner against Toronto FC II, and has 45 appearances at the MLS NEXT Pro level.
Tablante played his first minutes for Orlando’s first team in July of 2022, a midseason friendly match against Arsenal FC of the English Premier League.
Internationally, Tablante has been called into a number of Venezuelan National Team camps and most recently saw action for the senior team in a friendly match against Colombia at DRV PNK Stadium this past December.
