Two Cincinnati-based FIFA 18 gamers took to Fountain Square on Sunday, July 15, to crown the champion of the Microsoft-powered 2018 FC Cincinnati FIFA Tournament.
Playing on the video screen above Fountain Square in front of the hundreds of fans on hand for the FIFA World Cup Final watch party, Peter Elliott “Scott’s Tots” defeated Grant Ingham's “Grant’s XI” by a 3-0 score line. Elliott's win means he was the last standing from among the 190 city-wide participants in the FCC tournament that was held at the club’s pub partners Bucket Heads, Molly Malone's Covington, Rhinehaus and Second Place.
As champion, Elliott also wins four pregame field passes and four tickets to the President's Suite to a future FC Cincinnati match.
