On Tuesday, July 10, the four regional pub bracket winners in the Microsoft-powered 2018 FC Cincinnati FIFA Tournament met in the semifinal round at the Microsoft Store at Kenwood Towne Centre.
Bucket Heads winner Peter Elliot, Rhinehaus champion Michael Dellon, Second Place victor Grant Ingham, and Molly Malone's titleholder Alexander Katz faced off in a round-robin tournament in front of onlookers and fans for the right to meet in the championship round.
And after the dust had settled, Peter Elliott's "Scott's Tots" and Grant Ingham's "Grant's XI" finished atop the standings and advance to face one another for the city-wide title on Sunday, July 15. They will meet at halftime of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Final watch party at Fountain Square in downtown Cincinnati.
Sunday’s winner will not only be crowned champion of the 2018 FC Cincinnati FIFA Tournament, but he will also win four (4) pregame field passes and four (4) tickets to the President's Suite to a future FC Cincinnati match.
