CINCINNATI – FC Cincinnati announced today that the club and forward Adrien Regattin have mutually agreed to part ways due to personal matters.
“Our greatest priority is to focus on the wellbeing of all of our players and staff,” General Manager Gerard Nijkamp said. “Adrien spoke to us about the possibility of stepping away from the club because of a family situation and we concluded that this would be the best possible solution for everybody. We are appreciative for all Adrien did for FC Cincinnati and we wish him all the best in his future.”
“I want to say thank you to everybody at FC Cincinnati for giving me an opportunity to represent the Orange and Blue,” Regattin said. “I had a great experience with this team and wish the club all the best.”
Regattin, 29, made 10 appearances, including seven starts, recording two assists for the Orange and Blue during the 2020 MLS regular season. Regattin made his FC Cincinnati debut in the club’s season opener at New York on March 1, 2020.
