FCC will close the “Early Bird” renewal window on Monday at 5 p.m.
CINCINNATI – Just five days into the club’s season-ticket renewal period, FC Cincinnati has already renewed more than one-third of its 18,000 current season tickets for the 2019 season. Since going on sale Sunday, FCC has confirmed more than 7,000 season memberships for next season.
That figure does not include the 1,000-plus new season ticket accounts which have already been opened for 2019. It’s anticipated that those new accounts will represent several thousand actual season tickets as accounts generally average multiple tickets.
The 2019 season-ticket renewal process, which started on Sunday, Aug. 12 and runs through Wednesday, Sept. 5, will last a total of three-and-a-half weeks this year, the shortest window in club history. The seat selection process will start on Monday, Sept. 10, and will be scheduled by ticket priority.
Additionally, the week-long “Early Bird” period closes on Monday, Aug. 20, at 5 p.m. All season ticket members who renew in full, start a 10-month payment plan or who initiate their renewals by opting in to the seat improvement process will receive a special invitation to a special club event later this fall.
To take advantage of the “Early Bird” window, fans can call the FC Cincinnati Ticket Staff at (513) 977-5425 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and speak with an account representative to renew their tickets or opt into the seat improvement process. Club representatives will also be available on the phone between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 18.
Further, staff will also be available at Nippert Stadium on Saturday for the club’s match against the Charleston Battery. Fans will have the opportunity to securely renew their seats in person at the Lindner Center Box Office, as well as in the Club at the game and at the auxiliary sales table located at Gate 8.
Fans are encouraged to renew early to ensure they retain their current ticket priority, and are able to get in line for any potential seat upgrades or additions to their account.
This season, FC Cincinnati is averaging 25,043 fans per game at Nippert Stadium – the most in the USL. The club’s average also represents the fourth-highest per-game mark in the U.S. and Canadian professional soccer, behind Atlanta United FC (51,291), Seattle Sounds FC (40,494) and Toronto FC (26,713), all of MLS.
FC Cincinnati (14-3-6, 48 pts.) currently sits atop the USL standings with the top point total in the entire league. The team returns to action on Saturday, Aug. 18, when it hosts the Battery at 7:30 p.m. at Nippert Stadium. The game will be televised on WSTR 64, streamed on ESPN+ and carried on the radio by WSAI 1360 AM.
