CINCINNATI – Winger Isaac Atanga has joined Turkish club Göztepe SK on loan through May 2023, the club announced today. The deal includes an option to purchase the player.
The 22-year-old winger has made 10 appearances for FC Cincinnati across MLS, U.S Open Cup, and MLS NEXT Pro action this season. The Ghanaian scored and assisted in his most recent game with FC Cincinnati 2, a 2-0 win at Rochester NY FC.
Atanga joined FC Cincinnati in March 2019 from FC Nordsjaelland in the Danish Superligaen as a U22 initiative player. He has made 32 appearances across all competitions for FC Cincinnati and FC Cincinnati 2, scoring two goals and adding three assists.
