In his first match back with North Carolina FC, Nazmi Albadawi played against Logan Gdula and the Hartford Athletic.

USL Championship update:
Logan Gdula
Position: Defender
Club: Hartford Athletic
Result: 1-1 draw against North Carolina FC
Gdula started at center back for Hartford Athletic and played 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw at home.
Overall, he completed 60 passes for an impressive 93.3% accuracy. In opponent territory, the percentage was still 85%. Additionally, he completed one tackle and made one interception.
The rookie also played in Hartford’s 4-0 loss at Memphis 901 FC last Wednesday in the 2019 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.
Nazmi Albadawi
Position: Midfielder
Club: North Carolina FC
Result: 1-1 draw at Hartford Athletic
Albadawi had a strong performance in his return to his hometown club, where he played before joining FC Cincinnati in 2018.
The center midfielder made 53 passes with an 86.8% accuracy (79.4% in the opponent’s half). Additionally, he created a chance in the 28th minute on a cross to Roberto Kristo, but Kristo’s header was off target.
Defensively, Albdawi made three tackles and recorded one interception.
Ben Lundt
Position: Goalkeeper
Club: Louisville City FC
Result: 4-1 win against the Charleston Battery
In his 11th league appearance this season, Lundt helped Louisville City FC to a 4-1 win over the Charleston Battery at Louisville Slugger Field.
Lundt made three saves for City, who are unbeaten in their last three USL Championship matches.
FC Cincinnati host Louisville in the fourth round of the U.S. Open Cup on June 12 at Nippert Stadium. It’ll be the first meeting between the clubs since Cincinnati joined MLS.
Hassan Ndam
Position: Defender
Club: Charlotte Independence
Result: 4-1 loss at Ottawa Fury FC
Ndam and the Charleston Independence fell 4-1 to Ottawa Fury FC this past weekend. The Cameroonian defender played the full match and completed 14 passes for a 57.1% accuracy. He also made two tackles and one clearance.
Canadian Premier League update:
Emery Welshman
Position: Forward
Club: Forge FC
Result: 2-0 win against FC Edmonton
Welshman played 88 minutes in Forge FC's last game until June 15. It's expected he'll miss that match to be with the Guyana National Team for the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup.
In the win against Edmonton, Welshman had one shot on target and completed 18 passes with a 61.1% passing accuracy. He also won one tackle.
