FC Cincinnati defender Nick Hagglund underwent a successful surgical procedure to repair a broken wrist on Thursday, the club announced today.
Hagglund suffered the injury in training on Thursday morning and received the surgery on Thursday afternoon. As a result, he will miss the remainder of the 2021 season.
The Cincinnati, OH native has made 24 appearances for the Orange and Blue this season, scoring the first goal at TQL Stadium back in May. Following his surgery, Hagglund has been added to the Injured List.
FC Cincinnati play Saturday night at Inter Miami CF. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET, and the game will be televised on WSTR 64, streamed regionally on fccincinnati.com/stream, out of market on ESPN+, on radio on Fox Sports AM 1360 while an audio stream will be available via the iHeartRadio app.
