CINCINNATI – FC Cincinnati added forward Rashawn Dally with the No. 49 overall selection in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft, bringing the club’s total to six overall selections in its first-ever college draft. Dally becomes the first-ever Quinnipiac player selected in the MLS SuperDraft after featuring as a four-year starter for the Bobcats.
Dally was FCC’s only selection in the third and fourth rounds. The club entered the day with three picks in the final two rounds, but chose to pass in its final two selections: No. 61 overall (third round, No. 13) and No. 85 overall (fourth round, No. 13).

Dally played four seasons at Quinnipiac (2015-18), playing 78 games and recording 77 starts. The Bloomfield, Conn., native scored 16 goals and added 15 assists in his career with the Bobcats. The forward was invited to the Jamaica National Team senior camp in March 2018 and has experience in camps with Jamaica at various youth levels. He was a two-time United Soccer Coaches All-East Region Third-Team honoree (2016, 2018), and a three-time All-MAAC performer (2018 first team; 2016, 2017 second team).
Dally was the team’s sixth SuperDraft selection in 2019 after the club had five picks – two first-round selections and three second-round picks – in the first two rounds, which occurred last Friday, Jan. 11, at McCormick Place in Chicago.
The next time Cincinnati takes the field, it will be as MLS’ 24th team in 2019 when the club debuts in the top professional league in the U.S. and Canada.
FC Cincinnati’s debut MLS game will be at Seattle Sounders FC on Saturday, March 2, at CenturyLink Field.
