MIAMI, Fla. --- The Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup quarterfinal match between FC Cincinnati and NASL side Miami FC has officially been postponed due to lightning and thunderstorms and will be rescheduled to a yet-to-be-determined date.
The match never began due to weather and lightning that began shortly after 6:00 p.m. The two teams cannot play tomorrow due to Miami FC’s travel plans to San Francisco this Sat. in addition to FCC’s scheduled game at Louisville City FC.
Fans who have a ticket to tonight’s game will be able to utilize their ticket on the rescheduled date. For additional questions, call the Miami FC box office at 844-MiamiFC during normal business hours.
