In 2023, FC Cincinnati added a new chapter to their historic rise atop Major League Soccer by winning the prestigious Supporters’ Shield for the best regular season record - the first MLS trophy in club history. Debuting in Major League Soccer in 2019, the 16th different team to win the Supporters' Shield over the MLS' 28 years, and only the fifth active club to win it within their first five seasons in MLS. FCC are also the second fastest active expansion club to win the Supporters’ Shield since the league’s initial expansion in 1998; only LAFC (2019, second season) did it quicker.
